I always carry a tripod, but very rarely use it. It’s not that I don’t plan. I always have a shot in mind. But there are no certainties in the unpredictable mountain environment. Which is why I prefer to be mobile. Ready to react. To change position in an instant. 

My method might not be textbook, but it allows me to catch those unexpected moments.
