DEEPFOX
MUNRO

Scottish Mountain Photography

Finally emerging from a claustrophobic, mist-clinging climb to be greeted by a canopy of sun-drenched peaks must be the ultimate hillwalking rush. Witnessed for the first time, and on my very first Munro, it would be no exaggeration to say that for me it was life-changing. I bought a camera.

A few years and more than a few summits on, I’ve come to realise that mountain weather is fickle, such phenomena is rare, and that on my Munro initiation I’d experienced an extreme case of beginner’s luck.

What I now also know is that, regardless of the weather, if you’re observant and patient enough you’ll find beauty on every walk, under every sky.
